Painted this beautiful girl’s face for prom. I should have taken a better before photo but I had remembered to too late, I always do that :(

Details on this look and a pictorial on the eyes coming soon!

I’ve been MIA!

I’ve been so occupied with school and work and finals I haven’t gotten a chance to tend this blog. I’m working on creating a separate blog from Tumlbr on blogspot or something, because I’m looking to delete my tumblr and personal all together. Stay tuned!

No I don’t :( I’m working on it however!

I’ve been slacking with my posts lately and I deeply apologize!

This is yesterday’s look, I’ve been focusing on skin and trying to achieve that glow from within for the warm weather that is approaching here on the east coast.

Here’s the product list in order from first applied to last:

- Fresh Seaberry Moisturizing Oil

- Korres Mattifying Serum

- Makeup Forever HD Foundation #153 all over mixed with Dr. Gross Radiance Boost serum for an extra glow

- Makeup Forever HD Foundation #118 and #123 mixed to create a concealer shade and used to highlight

- Makeup Forever HD Setting Powder pressed to set highlight

- Ben Nye Banana Powder to further set highlight

- MAC Blunt and MAC Sun Power to contour

- MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium/Dark to set rest of the face :)

- MAC Gold Deposit, Soft and Gentle to further higlight. I also applied this down the center of my nose

- Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Brunette, Brow Genius Gel in Brunetter to fill in and darken brows. Makeup Forever Full Cover concealer to clean up

- Urban Decay Primer Potion original. Buck in crease and lower lash line, Darkhouse in outer corner and lower lash line, and Half Baked/Sin on the lid all form Urban Decay. Day Gleam Pressed Pigment from MAC in tear duct

- Lancome XL Cils Booster, DiorShow Mascara, BareMinerals Lash Domination

- MAC Melon pigment around the eyes and upper cheek bones

-MAC Fix+ to set the face with a dewy finish

There you have it :) Hope tis helps. I’m still trying to master that perfect dewy skin!

SKIN! I love seeing makeup like this, so many people but emphasis on the eyes and strong contouring/highlighting that they forget the key to flawless makeup is amazing skin that glows from within.
This is beautiful.

Some dewy goodness, a bold lip, and warm blue eyessss.

Details on the eyes are here.

Face details: I used Makeup Forever HD Foundations as my base (#153), highlight (mixed #123 and #118), and contour (#177). I am beginning to use the same product in multiple shades as my base, highlight, and contour because I noticed not all formulas have the same textures and consistencies and this does not look good in photos. You don’t want different textures showing up in photographs or lines of demarcation. Not cute!

I set my highlight first with Makeup Forever HD finishing powder (pressed) to prevent any caking, and then set on top with Ben Nye Banana Powder. I set my contour with bareMinerals Warmth. I set the rest of my face with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium Dark. My blush is Sephora Collection Tangerine Tease, and MAC Gold Deposit for some extra highlight on the cheeks and down the center of my nose. My lip is MAC Magenta liner and Heroine lipstick.

Xoxo!

Used my Inglot Pure Pigment eyeshadow in #85. It’s this deep brown with pretty blue undertones. Love it!

I’m also using MAC Brown Script as my transition color, Urban Decay ‘Darkhorse’ and Coastal Scents shadows in the outter corner and crease a little to blend the blue which is also Coastel Scents, I place Inglot Pure Pigment in #85 on top of the blue and blended in to the outer corner. On the inner part of my lid I have Gunmetal, and Half Baked in the inner corner both from Urban Decay.

I warmed up the lower lash line with MAC Brown Script and Urban Decay Darkhorse as well. Eyeliner is Laura Mercier gel liner. I used the flat end of the brush that comes with the Naked 2 palette (any flat brush will do however), and Sigma E40 and E25 brushes to blend blend blend!

I’m not wearing any mascara in the bottom photo yet, but in the top I curled my lashes with a lash curler (no name brand) and primed with Lancôme lash booster, then used bareMinerals Lash Domination. I then applied some Ardell individual lashes.

My brows are Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow wiz in Brunette and Chocolate Tinted Brow Gel. I cleaned up my brows with Makeup Forever Full Cover Concealer (this is the vanilla-y color on the brow bone, I never place eyeshadow here because I like the effect/color of the concealer).

Xoxo!

Played with some new lip pencils and lipsticks today!
Lip recipe is all from MAC. I experimented with colors and ways to make my lips look fuller. This lippie is: Chestnut lip pencil in the outter corners, Nice N Spicy lip pencil to outline the rest, and Half n Half lipstick :)
